Namche Bazaar

It is the third day of the trek and the only time I will have access to internet. So far, everything is awesome. The scenery is great and we got our first glimpse of Everest today - very cool. My guide is great as are the rest of the staff and the other trekkers. It is a large contingent of 14 people so it sometimes feels a bit like hiking in an ant colony, but they are all intelligent, articulate, nice people. Conversation is lively, educational and often witty. I think the gods are finally smiling on me.
